This stunning and large Victorian holiday home boasts a beautiful interior that offers fresh, stylish and lavish accommodation throughout, within walking distance of Pevensey Castle.

Situated within walking distance of the village of Pevensey with its striking castle, now an English Heritage site, and the local village pub and shop, makes this a great location for families wanting to explore the local area. The beaches at either Pevensey Bay or Eastbourne are perfect for a spot of sailing, swimming or fishing. The Sovereign Harbour Marina is a great place for a spot of lunch whilst admiring the wide variety of boats moored up. And The Towner, also in Eastbourne, is a stylish contemporary art gallery, which is not to be missed along with The Observatory Science Centre and the impressive Herstmonceux Castle, situated in the same grounds.

Up a couple of steps, a spacious entrance hall welcomes you into this house and guides you through to the lounge/diner. With a comfy sofa, armchairs, and a Smart TV, this is a stylish and cosy room for family evenings. The dining area has a large dining table with chairs to ensure there is room for everyone. The kitchen reached via couple of steps down, has been designed with keen cooks in mind and presents a light and airy space in which to entertain. An island with bar stools sits below stylish pendant lights and is the perfect spot for a morning coffee. Here you will find a range cooker with a gas hob and double electric oven, Smeg fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Enjoy a light lunch in the dining area with seating for four that overlooks the garden or throw open the French doors and let the fresh air in. On the first floor, you will find one king-size bedroom and two doubles all tastefully decorated, along with a study/games room with a desk and chair, sofa and a bookcase full of family board games and books to entertain everyone. The family bathroom is spacious and offers a bath, large walk-in shower cubicle, and WC. There is also a separate WC on this floor. On the second floor, up in the eaves you will find a further double bedroom, and a shower room with a shower and WC. Also on the second floor you will find a light and airy TV room with comfy sofa and a 75" smart TV.

The house itself is gorgeous it's a shame that there were soo many niggly things wrong. The oven handle was off and had to use the bolt to open it and the gas and electric nobs just turned and turned so we had to switch off the cooker on the mains switch. A towel holder kept falling off the wall, the kitchen sink taps were very poorly secured, therRead moree were hair balls which showed lack of hygiene, one of mattresses was painful to sleep on. Shower holders were not functioning properly. Such a shame Hide

The house was amazing and the location was brilliant. We had everything we could wish for (even the weather) and it was such a memorable week. Thank you.
