The ideal base for a trip to Goodwood, or a day at the fabulous beaches at East and West Wittering Nestled adjacent to the owners' home in a peaceful rural spot, this converted barn offers a delightful place to unwind amid fantastic attractions. Just 5 miles away lies the historic city of Chichester, known for its cathedral, theatre, shops, eateries, bars and markets – there’s plenty to keep you entertained in this stunning destination. It's also close to the Goodwood Estate, popular for its racing but with a host of other events, or venture into the South Downs for wonderful walks and views. Escape to the coast during your stay; East and West Wittering beaches are both within 12 miles and offer fantastic sand and shingle where you can walk and splash in the waves. In the evening, stroll a mile to the village for meals or drinks at the local pub. Inside, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has original features blending charm with contemporary style, and the windows let in plenty of natural light. Rustic oak beams overhead combine with modern decor, such as chic flooring and pretty farmhouse doors. The lovely, well-equipped kitchen is the perfect place to prep breakfast, and there’s a lovely table and chairs set where you can dine beneath the window. The sitting area offers a cushy sofa and a Smart TV for catching up on favourite shows. The bedroom has a relaxing feel and boasts a king-size bed with views of the garden and countryside. Outside, there's a pretty spot to enjoy drinks or dining, and picturesque rural scenery surrounds this retreat. In summer, guests have the chance to use the owners’ on-site heated swimming pool, offered between the 17th May and the end of September during daylight hours.
