For those looking to explore further afield, Ramsgate is ideally situated for day trips to nearby attractions such as the historic city of Canterbury (28 miles), the beautiful White Cliffs of Dover (21 miles), and the charming seaside town of Broadstairs (3 miles). Keen walkers and cyclists will also enjoy exploring the footpaths and trails along the Kent coast that offer breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline.

Whether it’s days out or nights in, this home-from-home cottage is the perfect base. Sitting on a pretty, Georgian Street this recently refurbished home (April 2023) has a pleasant outlook and is furnished in a modern plantation style offering elegant tranquillity. Enter through the front door and find yourself in the cosy and homely lounge with a comfortable sofa, and armchairs surrounding a 43" QLED Smart TV with surround soundbar – perfect for catching up on your favourite programmes. A dedicated office space adjoins the living area with a Georgian desk, tiger bamboo furnishings and traditional Victorian chaise longue offering the ideal spot for catching up on emails or relaxing with a good book. Stairs from the lounge lead down to the well-equipped kitchen/diner which is a fabulous space and has everything you’ll need if you choose to eat in. When it comes to gathering for a meal, there’s the stunning antique kitchen table with room for everyone and a delightful over arching lamp that offers cosy lamp lit dinners. Heading back upstairs, take a further set of stairs to the first floor where you will find the first two bedrooms: a super-king size bedroom to the front of the property that can be made into a twin on request and a single room at the rear of the property with a Smart TV an additional trundle bed for an extra child if needed. These two bedrooms share the shower room located on this floor. From the hallway a quirky but steep, winding staircase leads up to a welcoming master bedroom with a comfortable four poster king-size bed, Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom. The room is light and airy with double aspect skyline views of Ramsgate, and small skylights in the vaulted ceiling. (Please note that the skylights are not covered - for those with light sensitivities, a black out canopy cover for the bed and eye masks are provided).

The outside of the property is just as lovely with a fully enclosed courtyard garden with a hot tub, rattan patio seating and a charcoal BBQ for enjoying outside entertaining. This is a simply wonderful area to relax and unwind with a cocktail or two or to dine alfresco.

We had a wonderful stay at Patricias place! The location is amazing, the house itself is stunning and the hot tub is fab. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful standard of accommodation in a great location. Beautiful furnishings and great attention to detail - all needs were catered for. The hot tub is a great addition and we enjoyed it every day of our stay. Our host was always on hand to answer our queries. We felt very much at home at Bluebird Sands.

We had a great break at Bluebird Sands. The host was lovely and helpful if needed. The accommodation has everything you need home from home. The hot tub is an added bonus. The beds are so comfy and you feel refreshed in the morning. Shops and beach are on your doorstep. It is the perfect place to recharge and chill.
