Heating and hot water are provided by solar panels and a geothermal heat pump with an electricity-generating wind turbine that reduces carbon emissions. The grass roofs increase the insulation of the buildings, keeping heat in during the winter but cooling the inside during the heat of the summer. These spacious 3 storey houses have all been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and enjoy the benefits of under floor heating for the cooler months. There is a wild communal dunescape garden that reflect the wild plants found in the dunes that the houses overlook from their wooden balconies, a perfect place on which to relax and enjoy the sea air. The Eco houses have either 2 or 3 bedrooms and are situated just moments from the beach at Camber Sands. Excited children can make it through the sand dunes to the beach in about 10 seconds!
