Property code: BT098

This spacious property is located close to the village of Frant, a rural village with a bowling green and pubs which offers a wonderful retreat from the daily grind. The upmarket town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is just a short ten-minute drive away, so you are not completely remote here. The town offers a splendid place to spend a day wandering the gorgeous Georgian colonnade, The Pantiles, exploring the shops and stopping at one of the restaurants or cafes.

Enter the property through the front door and you will immediately be aware of the sense of space and light that runs throughout the house. To your left, you will find the large open-plan living space, with lounge/dining room/kitchen. The lounge area is the hub of the house, with its two sofas, armchair and open fire which keeps the property lovely and warm in winter. There is a TV, DVD player and multi-media centre here, as well as Wi-Fi internet access. Behind the lounge area, there is a large wooden dining table which overlooks the kitchen area with its oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment. Large windows run along one whole side of this room, including the patio doors which lead onto the garden. A door from the lounge takes you to a corridor, from which the three bedrooms are located. There is a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, and a further bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite wet room with automatic lighting and shower. At the end of the hall, there are two steps down to the master bedroom suite which has a king-size bed, its own TV and DVD player, an en-suite shower room and a comfortable seating area with sofa. This room even has its own patio area, which is accessed through French doors.

Outside the property is a large brick patio area, with a table and six chairs, overlooking the surrounding countryside. There is parking for three cars.

The stables are wonderful, one of the best we've stayed in for both comfort and position. The rooms are spacious but really warm with underfloor heating and a wood burner. Very well appointed cottage with en-suites to all bedrooms and mostly on one level. Peaceful and quiet location, benefiting from eco-friendly heating system boosted by log burner with ample logs and kindling supplied. Undercover parking a plus when loading unloading in poor weather.
