This stylish property is situated on a contemporary development, just an easy ten minute walk from the ancient town of Rye in East Sussex. Rye makes a wonderful place for a holiday, with its cobbled streets, café-bars, pubs and array of fascinating boutique-style shops. There is even a tiny, though state-of-the-art cinema, which is a world away from the usual multiplex experience. Within a five-minute drive or fifteen-minute bike ride is the village of Rye Harbour, with its RSPB nature reserve, quiet beach and welcoming gastropub.

Upon entering the property, you will find yourself in the light and airy hall which leads on to the comfortable lounge, with its sofas and chairs, TV and DVD player. There is also a stylish chaise-longue in the window, which offers views across the Tillingham Valley. Double doors from the lounge open up onto the glossy kitchen/dining room, where the dining table sits adjacent to the patio doors, looking out onto the garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, separate fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a convenient downstairs cloakroom and a washroom. The property has four bedrooms, two of which have king-size beds, views across the Tillingham Valley and separate en-suite shower and WC. The twin and single bedrooms share the main bathroom with a shower over bath and WC.

Outside there is a fully enclosed rear garden with small lawn and patio area which has a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a BBQ provided. There is parking for two cars in the carport and driveway. Please note, there is nearby on-street parking available for additional cars.

A lovely house in a quiet residential area with a small park just round the corner for little ones. About a 15 min walk to most shops if you cut across the park. Sits on a hill so you need to enjoy walking. Camber sands 10 min drive, Hastings 30 min drive. Plenty of books for all ages and games are provided. The only downside was the uncomfortable Read moreseating in the living room which could be upgraded. Hide

We enjoyed our holiday at this lovely house. Very well equipped, especially for young children (high chair, cot, bathroom stool, socket protectors, puzzles and books childrens plates, cutlery and cups available). Nice to go with a family or group of friends, because of all the bathrooms and toilets: you have a lot of privacy. Very friendly (Dutch-sRead morepeaking!) neighbours, which was very nice. Quiet area, yet very near to the busy centre of Rye. One of the best holiday cottages we stayed in so far. Hide

Beautiful clean, bright and airy house. Very comfortable and everything very well catered for. The house is well located for a 10 minute walk into Rye and good base for exploring local beaches of Camber and Winchelsea.
