Holiday cottages and self-catering accommodation i Rye Harbour

Rye Harbour is a small village just south of the market town of Rye, close to the Kent-Sussex border. Sat on the River Rother, it also has a busy yachting centre and a fishing fleet. It is home to a lifeboat station, two pubs and a village shop.

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is an attractive Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI) and one of the most important conservation sites in the UK. You can enjoy a maze of paths through a range of coastal habitats that includes grazing marshes, freshwater gravel pits, and reed beds. The nature reserve at Rye Harbour has five wheelchair accessible hides providing excellent spots to appreciate the wintering and sedentary birds that make the area their home.

The town of Rye is also worth some good exploration, as it has a good range of shops, museums and places to eat. It also has an enviable programme of arts events that runs all year round and is the envy of most towns of a larger size. Our Rye Harbour cottages are close to the coastal resorts of Camber Sands and Hastings, and also within reasonable driving distance of Dungeness and Eastbourne, making them a great place to spend your next holiday.
