Located just three and a half miles North West of lively Tunbridge Wells, this cottage enjoys a secluded position and yet is close to several interesting places worth exploring. With plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy, Tunbridge Wells is famous for its historic Pantiles area, as well as the High Rocks, a collection of tall sandstone rocks connected by bridges and surrounded by woodlands. Enjoy country walks along the bridal path just outside the property which can take you to Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells. Along the way there are many different trails to follow including Pembury Walks, Capel, Tudeley Woods RSPB nature reserve, which has an extensive area of mixed woodland, heathland and wildflower meadows. If you would like to borrow the owners mountain bikes, please enquire when you book the property. There are also several glorious castles to explore nearby, including the nearby castle at Tonbridge as well as Scotney Castle, Leeds Castle and Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. You could also travel to France and back in a day as the Channel Tunnel is located just an hour away.
Upon entering the property, you will be welcomed into the beautifully decorated and open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a lovely space for socialising and relaxing in. Relax in the lounge in front of the TV, or gather around the dining table for an intimate meal, a lazy breakfast, or to tuck into the welcome treats offered on your arrival. Over in the kitchen, you’ll have everything you need to make the most of your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and Nespresso coffee machine. A WC can also be found on the ground floor. Upstairs is the beautiful double bedroom, complete with its own en-suite bathroom, featuring a handheld shower over the bath and WC.
Outside the cottage, you can relax in private using the garden furniture, or alternatively, make the most of the larger open space of the owner’s neighbouring garden.
