For those that want to hop in the car and explore further afield, there are many local attractions to explore including Bodiam Castle, and Great Dixter House and Gardens. Inside, wooden flooring runs throughout the ground floor.

Leave your coats, boots and flip-flops in the useful cupboard before continuing through to the kitchen at the rear of the house. Open plan to the dining room, this is a sociable space in which to prepare meals for the rest of the family. Here you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen that has everything you need for whipping up delicious family meals. The dining table beyond seats six, while a comfortable chair sits in the sunlight next to the French windows. Also located on the ground floor is a small office which can also double up as a kids TV room and a ground floor WC. Upstairs, the lounge is spacious and inviting with the same coastal charm as the ground floor offering a large comfy sofa, armchair and Smart TV. The en-suite master bedroom is also located on the first floor, which boasts a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. On the second floor, you’ll find two super king-size zip-and-link bedrooms, which can be made into a twin on request. One room has a distinctly coastal feel with seascape wall hangings and a Smart TV/DVD player for everyone to enjoy, while the other adopts a more elegant, muted feel. These rooms share the family bathroom, which has a bath with a shower and WC.

French doors open from the kitchen/dining room to a decked area, which gives way to a stylish pebbled garden. With comfortable rattan garden furniture and a BBQ, this is an inviting space in which to cook, eat and relax with the family at any time of day.
