This lovely cottage is situated in the village of Fairlight in East Sussex. There is plenty to see in the area, with many pretty beaches scattered along the coast, from the RSPB reserve at Rye Harbour, to the cliff-backed beach at Pett Levels, with its hidden fossils and rock pools and, further around the coast, the wide expanse of sand at Camber Sands. If you fancy a break from beaches, try a visit to the historic town of Rye with its antique shops, boutiques and huge choice of places to eat.
Passing through the wooden porch of this former stable barn, you will arrive into the welcoming open-plan living area, with stunning period features such as the exposed beams and fireplace with woodburner. The kitchen has everything you will need, including, oven, hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, Butler’s sink and washing machine. There is a farmhouse table with seating for two, perfect for romantic dinners and long breakfasts. The lounge area centres around the woodburner, which keeps the cottage wonderfully cosy in winter months and has a sofa, two chairs, wall-mounted TV, DVD player, iPod dock, Wi-Fi , a beautiful hand-painted Welsh dresser, where you can find an array of DVDs and games, perfect for nights in front of the fire and a walk-in clothes storage cupboard. The delightful bedroom has a double bed, two chests of drawers and wooden hangers, as well as an en-suite shower room and views across the farm courtyard.
Outside the property, there is an enclosed, paved seating area with table, chairs and a BBQ. Parking is available.
