Perfectly located to explore all of the lovely things that Kent has to offer, this charming farm cottage is in the pretty village of Aldington, just eight miles south-east of the bustling town of Ashford. Here you can visit the huge designer outlet shopping centre as well as the more traditional high street, and in the nearby city of Canterbury, you can browse a fantastic selection of independent shops as well as visiting the cathedral and timber-framed buildings along its medieval cobbled streets. The area is home to a wealth of National Trust properties including Chartwell, the former home of Winston Churchill, Knole House and Smallhythe Place, as well as the romantic castles of Leeds, Hever and Bodiam. Head to the coast where you will find glorious beaches and small fishing villages dotted along the coast as well as the larger resorts of Whitstable and Margate.
As you enter the property, you will be greeted by a small hall area, perfect to leave coats and boots. Just beyond is a cosy lounge with traditional wooden beams, comfortable sofas and wood burner, as well as a TV/DVD and family games for relaxing evenings at home. A double bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath and WC complete the ground floor, along with a cosy snug with sofa, TV and a selection of books. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, a double and a twin with sofa. Most of the rooms in the house have wonderful views across the surrounding countryside, dotted with livestock from neighbouring farms.
