This beachside retreat guarantees there is something for everyone within easy reach, whether it's exploring the nearby harbour in Whitstable, fine dining, taking a nature walk along The Swale or simply kicking back on the beach, which stretches in either direction from the end of the garden.
On entering the single-storey property's open-plan living space, guests are greeted with fantastic panoramic sea views over Whitstable Bay. Two bedrooms lead off from the living space – one double and one king size. From the living area, patio doors open out onto a raised deck with patio furniture and loungers for relaxing in the sun and enjoying the sea air. Four steps lead down to a fenced garden area, with a gate leading directly onto the beach.
Known for its excellent gastropub serving local seafood, the village of Seasalter lies 2 miles west of Whitstable, which can be reached by road or along the beach. Here you will find plenty more pubs, restaurants and cafes, as well as a great range of independent boutiques and a thriving arts scene, with a number of galleries and workshops to explore. Slightly further afield lie the historic streets and ancient cathedral of Chaucer's Canterbury, just a 7-mile car or bus ride south, while journeying 20 miles to the east leads to the golden sands of Margate and Broadstairs, not to mention the vintage fairground rides at Dreamland pleasure park and the jewel in Margate's cultural crown: the Turner Contemporary art gallery.
