Enjoying a fantastic seafront location in the quiet village of Seasalter, this beautiful beachside property is perfect for getting away from it all and finding a private paradise. Just a short walk from a well-regarded gastropub, and 2 miles from the popular seaside town of Whitstable, there is something for everyone and the opportunity to do as much or as little as desired.
On arrival, guests enter the cottage's large open-plan living area where they will find a light-filled space with a lovingly chosen collection of eclectic furnishings and features that lend the space a wonderful homely feel. There are plenty of spots to relax while enjoying uninterrupted views to the beach, with a warming wood burner creating a cosy atmosphere in the cooler months. However, when the sun comes, it's time to throw open the full-width bi-folding patio doors and connect the living area with the wide decked terrace immediately outside. Beyond this is a beach garden where guests will find a picnic table and a BBQ, which is the ideal spot for enjoying al fresco drinks and meals while listening to the gentle sound of the waves on the shore as the sun goes down. Once night falls, head back inside to the property's two bedrooms: an attractive double room with an en-suite wet room and a second double bedroom, next to a second wet room.
A gate at the end of the garden leads directly onto the beach, which is where adventures begin. Head west along the beach to the local gastropub and nature walks across the Kent marshes beyond, or turn east for Whitstable. Here, guests will find a huge range of restaurants and pubs – many serving locally caught seafood specialities – as well as a number of artists' galleries and independent shops.
