This pretty Victorian cottage is located on a quiet street in the coastal town of Eastbourne, East Sussex. It sleeps four people in two charming bedrooms, making it the ideal setting for a small family holiday or a get-together with friends. Close to Eastbourne's museum, bandstand and pier, this delightful cottage sets you at the heart of the town's charming seaside appeal. With views of the South Downs National Park, quiet days at a slower pace of life await in the rugged East Sussex countryside.

Packed with character and style, this charming terraced cottage, offers a warm and homely welcome. The social kitchen/diner allows plenty of space for cooking up a storm and enjoying mealtimes together. On summer days, throw open the door into the garden and dine alfresco on the sun-kissed decked area at the end of the garden. The cosy lounge offers comfortable sofas and soft furnishings where you can relax with a movie or a good book. After a day of exploring, enjoy a long soak in the luxurious roll-top bath before retiring to the pretty and thoughtfully decorated bedrooms.

During the summer months, Eastbourne's shingle beach comes to life, offering a good spot for sunbathers. Walkers can escape the hustle and bustle of the seaside and discover the iconic scenery at Beachy Head (3.5 miles) and the South Downs National Park. Head to the National Trust's Cuckmere Valley (7.5 miles) and Birling Gap and Seven Sisters (3.5 miles) for beautiful walks, and Alfriston Clergy House (9 miles) for history and heritage. Eastbourne offers plenty of traditional pubs, independent shops, a bandstand with a busy programme of events, a newly restored Victorian pier, tearooms, fish and chip restaurants and a Lifeboat Museum.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable and the enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance and plenty of things to do and see. Parking could be tricky at busy times but we didn't have a problem during our stay

End terrace with a large garden so was great for our dog. Well positioned for amenities. Difficult to park two out of four nights we stayed but not untypical for Eastbourne. Spotlessly clean property.

Lovely property with all the amenities that's required. It is situated in a quiet street, walking distance to some very good pubs and South Downs. Old Town in Eastbourne highly recommended. The cottage couldn't be faulted in any way and the garden was lovely and great to keep the dog safely enclosed. We would definitely book it again. It was a really perfect place to stay.

I really loved my holiday here at Little Olives, it was a relaxing comfortable stay. It is very clean and warm, there are little extras throughout, for convenience, which is very thoughtful and that really makes it a home from home. The provision for baby was great, Lots of places to visit, by bus, train or car, and good access to transport links. Lovely cosy cottage with two good sized bedrooms. It is well equipped, the kitchen is surprisingly spacious with a back door to the large garden. The lounge/front room is welcoming with enough seating for four. The TV has all regular channels plus Netflix and other apps. Easy to operate too. Location was fine for our needs but was a bit too far to Read morewalk into town, there is a bus service at the end of the road though. Recommend the Spice Garden and The Dolphin pub. Hide

Absolutely recommend this property. It was clean and homely. Not only was it fully equipped but little things like cleaning products and even dish clothes. You can tell the owners think if everything. Our dog Bert loved the garden. Loved seeing the foxes in the morning

A lovely well equipped cottage in a quiet street, its a 30 minute walk to the sea front although its uphill all the way back to the cottage. The cottage is very dog friendly with a lovely fenced garden which was ideal for our dog.
