With the well-known De La Warr Pavilion and the shops, pubs and restaurants of Bexhill-on-Sea just a short walk along the beach, this property offers the perfect combination of peace and seaside charm, which will have you feeling rejuvenated in no time.

 

Decorated and furnished with a contemporary style, this delightful cottage features thoughtful touches that give it a homely feel. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook up a storm before dining together around the table in the lounge/diner. Retire to the comfortable lounge to swap stories late into the night or watch a movie together, snuggled up on the sofa. Wake to the sound of waves lapping against the shore and allow yourself to enjoy a long lie-in, gazing out across the sea views from the king-size bed. Large windows in the conservatory run the length of the property, offering a quiet spot to get lost in a good book and access to the balcony, perfect for al fresco dining.

 

Enjoy a traditional day on the beach, stroll along the 2-mile promenade with beach huts and colourful deck chairs in Bexhill-on-Sea, or enjoy the events and exhibitions at De La Warr Pavilion. Walkers and cyclists will be in their element choosing between coastal routes or countryside rambles through the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (7 miles). Along the coast in Hastings (5 miles), fantastic views can be found on the East Hill funicular or travel back in time with a visit to Hastings Castle and the Smuggler Caves.

This was a beautiful apartment. The views are incredible and the furniture and decoration was stunning. It is also the cleanest property I have ever stayed in.

We have recently returned from a week spent at the first floor apartment 'Beachside,' in Bexhill-on-Sea. The property was presented clean, light and spacious, with many 'mod cons', and with a frontage providing idyllic views over the pebble beach and English Channel. Shops, cafes and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The downside for tRead morehose travelling by car, is the lack of free parking available, and also that 60 metres the nearest you can get to the property to unload/load. Hide

Apartment is in a great location with a fabulous view. All amenities are within a couple of minutes walk and the train station is a short walk from the apartment with regular services to other coastal towns. It is our second stay here in the last nine months so we know what to expect and were not disappointed.

The sea view is spectaculer and enlosed so rain is as welcome on cloudy days or sun especially with a good book and a glass of something. Park at De-La-Warr car park, nice and easy and visit Mowgli Indian. The museum is brilliant and very cheap.

We could barely get ourselves out of this spacious, stylish apartment right on the sea with the most incredible sun room looking out over the beach. Spent a lot of time relaxing, reading and watching the changing skies and sea. We did, however, manage to run and walk along the seafront west one day and east the next. Warm and comfortable apartment with stunning sea views equipped with everything we could need for a relaxing break. Furniture and accessories are of a high spec and the covered veranda/conservatory is fabulous. Parking in the De La Warr car park very reasonable for a 24 hour period and conveniently close by and easy to renew each day from the apartRead morement using the RingGo app. The town has lots of independent shops and restaurants/cafes and is very charming. Really lovely apartment everything you might need within a few minutes walk, loved the independent shops and restaurants so close, no need to travel any further. Loved sitting in the sun room and the balcony we were lucky enough to to have a week of fabulous weather. Cant wait to book again

Just back from our 5th visit to Beachside, so as you can tell we enjoy our stays here very much. The view from the apartment of the prom & sea is superb, you can enjoy the view whatever the weather, it is a comfortable home from home.

We love staying at Beachside, it was our 5th visit and we enjoyed it as much as before. The weather could have been better, but the view of the sea from the glazed veranda is fascinating what ever the weather and is a comfortable space to relax and unwind from busy lives at home.

Comfortable apartment with amazing views and in a great location for all shops, restaurants etc, pity photos gave impression there is access to promenade/beach from balcony, sadly an ugly red and white chain and a No Entry sign across balcony prevents this. For the price paid we would have expected hand towels and other basic necessities to be suppRead morelied and the kitchen bin not to be broken. We love this apartment, hence a return visit. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you can think of and more. We were visiting the DLW for a concert and due to the rail strike had to travel a day earlier and stay longer in Bexhill than we had intended and were delighted to find the apartment was available for the dates we needed. Obviously in Read moreMarch the weather left something to be desired but even that made watching the rough sea a pleasure. We will definitely book again in due course. Hide

If you need to relax and unwind, this is the place to be, with people watching, strolling, restaurants, cafes, local shops, museum, theatre and park all within a short, flat walk.
