Stylishly decorated, this spacious family holiday home is the perfect base for all ages looking for a family break by the sea. This beach house offers a tranquil setting just a short walk from the beach

This stylish holiday cottage is located on a quiet development close to the beach at Camber Sands. Camber is the perfect location for a beach holiday, no matter what you like to do. Children will love the miles of golden sand, whilst adults will enjoy the chance to relax or try their hand at beach sports, including kite surfing. For those who want a break from the beach, the beautiful town of Rye is just a short drive away drive and has much to offer to visitors, with its numerous independent boutiques and plenty of places to eat, from beautiful old pubs, to fine dining restaurants and cafe-bars.

A warm welcome awaits, on the ground floor of this bright and airy cottage you will find the first of the bedrooms, a spacious double with views over the garden, a separate snug with a sofa, perfect for curling up with a good book and with patio doors that lead out into the garden, and a separate WC. There is also a washing machine located in a cupboard on this floor. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with comfy sofas surrounding the TV/DVD and patio doors that lead out onto the balcony. Enjoy preparing family meals in the kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, before dining at the table with seating for all. Take the stairs to the second floor, where the remaining two bedrooms can be found, a master bedroom with a king-size bed, built in wardrobe and en-suite shower and WC, and a children's bunk bed room. The stunning contemporary main bathroom is light and bright with a hand held shower over bath and WC.

Outside the property benefits from a contemporary styled garden which has a decked area with outdoor dining furniture. This area gives way to a delightful shingled area, giving a real seaside feel to the outdoor living space. There is also a delightful balcony on the first floor which is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and watching the world go by. There is allocated parking space for 1 car and ample roadside parking to the front of the property, subject to availability.

A nice townhouse with a good location just behind the dunes, nice and quiet. Plenty of room although the furnishings are beginning to look a bit tired as its the garden.

My friend's and my self had a great time at lavender cottage the cottage was beautiful and clean the owner Mrs McCormick left us a bottle of prosecco and was always ready to help us when ever we needed her. We found everybody in camber sands so polite and friendly we will be back next year and will definitely be going back to lavender cottage.

A very spacious and comfortable house, great location for the dog friendly beach once youve climbed the hill. Plenty to see and do in the area for all ages.

Well set out airy property, close to beach. Would benefit from a paint refresh and some repair of decking . Does not have 3 bathrooms as advertised- 2 bathrooms on second floor and just a toilet on ground floor by double bedroom, which would also benefit from some clothes storage.

A comfortable and restful place. House very quiet and walking distance to the beach (C access for dogs). Easy on street parking. Be aware this is a town house so lots of stairs. Lovely sunny patio and secure for my dog. Try The Owl restaurant near the beach. Also nice cycle and walking path into Rye not far from Pontins roundabout.
