Located in the heart of the pretty town of Broadstairs – and just a few steps away from the magnificent Viking Bay – this elegant townhouse offers the opportunity for a stylish seaside getaway. Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms and welcoming one canine companion, it’s the perfect accommodation option for large families or groups of friends who want to explore Kent’s wide, sandy beaches and charming seaside towns.
Climb the few stairs that lead up to the front door of this traditional townhouse, step inside, and you’ll find yourself in a spacious hallway. Stairs lead down to a stylish, lower ground-floor kitchen, where you can cook up a feast for your nearest and dearest. Dine all together around the dining table in the chic dining area in the ground floor’s light and bright dual-aspect living room/diner. After dinner, sink into a sofa in the living room and watch your favourite TV show, or head to the lower ground floor for some quality time with a good book in the additional lounge area. Alternatively, step through the kitchen door into the fully enclosed courtyard where you can sit with a loved one and catch up on the latest gossip. When the day is done, you’ll find two beautifully styled bedrooms on the first floor and two on the second floor.
Viking Bay is just a few steps away at the end of the street, so start your day with a dip in the sea. On a clifftop overlooking the bay, you’ll find Bleak House Broadstairs (0.5 miles), which was Charles Dickens’ favourite holiday home. It’s also where he wrote parts of David Copperfield and Bleak House. Alternatively, make your way to Ramsgate Tunnels (2.5 miles) and take a fascinating walk through the UK’s largest network of civilian wartime tunnels.
