Nestled in the pretty town of Broadstairs with its wide range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants and just moments from Viking Bay beach, this cottage is ideal for a family getaway. The cottage is within easy reach of the nearby towns of Margate with the recently restored Dreamland theme park and Turner Contemporary Gallery, Ramsgate – where you can watch the sailing boats moor up in the Marina – and the historic City of Canterbury known for great shopping and Canterbury Cathedral. For keen walkers and cyclists is a wide range of cycle and footpaths on the doorstep, making this is the perfect base for couples and families looking to escape it all.

Enter the hallway where you can drop your coats and shoes and head into the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge boasts comfy seating (including sofa bed), a Smart TV and a dining table with benches to enjoy a meal together along with stunning Bi-fold doors out onto the courtyard. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. Just off the hall is a utility room housing a washer/dryer, and access to the garden along with a separate WC. It is also the perfect spot for your four-legged friends after walks, where towels are provided for drying off. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find three of the bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, all boasting Smart TVs. You will also find the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Take the stairs to the second floor and you’ll find the master super-king-size bedroom set in the eaves with a Smart TV and en-suite shower and WC. All the bedrooms have a Bluetooth speaker, wireless charging and USB ports.

There is a patio area with seating and charcoal BBQ, perfect for dining alfresco. The courtyard has rear access for bikes and storage too. Thinking of your four-legged friends, there is an outside tap and hose perfect for rinsing those muddy or sandy paws. There are also plenty of beach accessories provided to help you with your beach days. Private parking for two cars is available at the front of the property.

Very comfortable property and well equipped. Beach is a stones throw away as are restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

We loved our week at Beach Mews! Fabulous location so we were able to walk to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We can recommend Kebbells restaurant, The Royal Albion Hotel and Beaches and Chiappanis cafes - all dog friendly. Thanks to Emmy for being a fantastic host - and for supporting our Canine Bloat Awareness campaign.

Lovely property in a great location with off road parking and next to a small park. The property is just off Albion Street where there are many pubs and restaurants, some of which are dog friendly and also only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would recommend the property and Broadstairs.

This without a doubt has been the best equipped property we have ever stayed in and with its excellent location and parking for 2 cars we unreservedly recommend d Beach Mews as an excellent place to stay.

Lovely quiet location and a lot of thought put in by owners for the guest dogs. Comfortable and well equipped for the guests. Two minute walk to local shops, beach and restaurants etc.

Beautiful house close to the high Street but still in a peaceful location. Beds comfortable and plenty of space for us all (six adults, a teenager and s dog). Great TV!
