The house was spacious, with many rooms. The top-floor "den" was a great success. We were disappointed at the lack of small items that make a difference to the first night in a holiday home: a sliver of soap in the bathrooms, a couple of dishwasher tabs, promised "fresh cakes" that were not there. Services such as heating should be reliable, and thRead moreis was not; basic kitchen equipment was sadly lacking. This is a fine house, reflected in the cost to stay there, but sadly let down by details. Hide

House is a little run down and needs some TLC. we stayed as a family of 8 so it was adequate for all our needs. Lots of stairs to keep you fit! Garden was a little neglected and needs a bit of work however is a lovely sun trap

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. The location is perfect for easy access into Eastbourne as well as to other local attractions. House was clean, light and spacious. It was functional and comfortable for a larger family (we were 6 x adults and 2 x children). As some other reviews mentioned, there are a couple of bits in the property which couldRead more be refreshed, or seem to need repairing, but this didn't impact our stay. we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return to this property. Once a very nice property, now needs maintaining. The area was lovely, plenty of walks and our dog had a lovely time. We took our family there as a treat with a new baby and was very disappointed.
