Old and young alike will enjoy a trip on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch railway which runs from Hythe through to Dungeness.

The front door of this beautiful property opens into a small lobby where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading into the comfortably furnished lounge that features a sofa, and two comfortable armchairs arranged around the beautiful inglenook fireplace that houses the Smart TV. From the lounge, there are two steps up into the kitchen/diner that features everything you will need for whipping up a delicious meal including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, and microwave. The central island with four stools is the perfect spot for relaxed mealtimes and there are stairs from the kitchen that lead up to the first floor where you will find two comfortable bedrooms. The first on offer is a sumptuous super-king with views across to the local churchyard and out to sea and the second is a cosy bunk room with sea views. The bunk bed is suitable for either two children or one adult as the top bunk is slightly shorter than a standard size. Both bedrooms share the shower room which features a walk-in shower and WC.

Here you will find comfortable patio seating and a charcoal BBQ for relaxed entertaining. This is a lovely little cottage within walking distance of the town, the shops and the sea. The cottage had everything in order to have a great holiday and was quiet and peaceful even though it is not detatched. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We can reccommend it!

Ducks Cottage is clean, well equipped, very cosy and very very quiet. It's situated a few hundred yards from the High Street with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and a Sainsburys one way, Waitrose the other with the sea front a few hundred yards further on. We used the local bus service to Canterbury and Folkstone and also travelled on the RHDR Read morerailway down to Dungeness. The walk back up to the cottage is a bit steep but we like walking and really enjoyed our stay. Hide

A really nice well maintained cottage in spotless condition and in a great location. Kitchen very nice and well equipped, beds and seating very comfortable. Somewhat lacking in originality for a listed building but still nice to look at. A superb base for our holiday.

This is a very well appointed cottage with wonderful views over the town on to the sea - the sheltered sunny terrace in the corner of the garden is a delightfully quiet spot with great views over the channel coast to Dungeness and beyond. Lovely well kept, spotless clean and tidy cottage. Great location with a lovely outlook over church to the sea. From the welcome bottle of wine and goodies to the well equipped and quintessentially cosy ambience! A very enjoyable stay. Our two little boys didnt want to go home.

Property is located on a steep slope with no street lights but was only 5 minutes walk down to the high street and 20 minutes to the beach on traffic free footpaths. Cottage was well equipment and comfortable. Parking in July was an issue in North road but available in Castle street which is one level higher.

A lovely little cottage, which stayed nice and cool in the heat. The beds were comfortable and my parents said the king sized bed was the most comfortable they had ever slept in, so that is a real compliment as my mother is very fussy! It was a lovely quiet area to stay with lovely views. My elderly parents (in their 80s) could not walk up the hillRead more though so we could only go out by car, worth bearing in mind if you have limited mobility. Hide

The cottage was immaculate and comfortable, situated on a pretty, tho quite steep, footpath with a view of the nearby church and across Hythe to the sea. There was an attractive and secluded garden which we enjoyed.
