Situated in a peaceful rural setting with easy access to the North Downs Way, this property is a great choice for keen walkers and cyclists. The pretty village of Lenham is only 3 miles away and is a quintessential Kent village with many independent shops, tearooms, and pubs. For those looking for a spot of retail therapy, the nearby towns of Canterbury and Ashford offer shopping and popular family attractions such as Canterbury Cathedral. Leeds Castle (7 miles) makes for a great family day out, and there are a whole host of stunning National Trust houses, gardens, and other wonderful locations that will keep the family entertained. For those looking to head to the Kent coastline, there are many sandy beaches to enjoy that are about 16 miles away and perfect for a day at the seaside.

As you enter the light-filled timber lodge which is located in the owners' grounds, leave your coats and boots in the entrance hall and continue through to the main living area. This spacious and bright room features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and French doors opening onto a large decked area. The kitchen is ideal for whipping up a delicious meal before sitting down to dine at the dining table with seating for all, overlooking the fields outside. After dinner, retreat to the cosy lounge and relax on the comfortable sofa which is perfect for unwinding in front of the Smart TV/ DVD player. Heading back into the hallway, you will find three bedrooms (all with Hypnos beds): a king-size with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC, a super-king-size zip-and-link that can be made into a twin upon request, and a further twin bedroom (which can be made into a super king on request) all have Smart TVs. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC, and the property is completed with a handy utility room with a washing machine.

Heading outside, there is a large decked area that wraps around the property and features patio seating for six guests before a set of steps leads down to a lawned area for children to play on. Accessed via the decking is a hot tub, that sits 6 people, with beautiful views over the Kent countryside. Enjoy a glass of something chilled and watch the sunset in the distance overlooking the stunning fields and countryside beyond.

Beautiful property, everything you could wish for home from home. We would definitely go back . The owners were so helpful , with scones , cream and jam left and little tub of dog biscuits for our dog and all you need to get you through , tea coffee etc . Would highly recommend.

We have stayed in many lodges and this has been the best. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The information file was very comprehensive including places of interest, places to eat, local walks and instructions for all appliances. We all had the best time at the log cabin. It was beautiful, well kept and lots of space inside and out. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, and even left us some little treats at the start of our trip which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely visit again and recommend to our family and friends.

Sunset Lodge is in a tranquil location, with lots to do (hot tub, table tennis, pool, board games) and there is no need to leave the site to have a relaxing holiday. But there are also lots of interesting places to visit not far away, making it a wonderful place to stay.

Sunset Lodge was perfect for our family celebration weekend - clean, well equipped and thoughtfully furnished, with the hot tub and games room adding to the enjoyment. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. A very comfortable and relaxing stay.

An wonderful log cabin, really well equipped, warm and cosy. We spent a lovely afternoon in the hot tub, watching the changing weather, overlooking the countryside. Our hosts were so helpful and recommended some great pubs locally. We would definitely come back.

Booked a last minute local weekend break and wasn't disappointed, it was great. We were welcomed by owners Debbie and Daren who couldn't have been more friendly. If there were any concerns, there wasn't, they were on site if needed. Sunset Cottage is lovely accommodation equipped with everything a family needs to enjoy their stay and everything you need to keep the place tidy while you're there. This wonderful, private and peaceful cottage was the best we've stayed in. The high quality kitchen, range of utensils and the lovely modern look and feel of the property were fabulous. The accommodation was beautiful. It was furnished to a very high standard. The hot tub was a bonus and much enjoyed.
