Slightly further afield is the seaside town of Hastings (12miles) which is perfect for wandering around the quaint Old Town. Also within a short drive is an altogether different seaside location, with the shingle beach at Dungeness (9 miles). Famous for its wild beauty and dramatic skies, Dungeness is not just popular with wildlife enthusiasts, but also with photographers and artists.
