Located in a peaceful residential area of Tunbridge Wells, ideal for walking to restaurants and cafes, bars, and independent shops and with private parking for one car, this is a perfect spacious retreat for couples or solo travellers. The railway station is 1 mile away so you could leave the car at home. Browse and eat at The Pantiles, pop into the art galleries, there are two theatres to choose from. Tunbridge Wells lies close to the East Sussex border in the high weald AONB, so it is easy to venture further and explore the famous gardens at Penshurst Place, Sissinghurst Castle and Pashley Manor, the moated castles of Scotney and Bodiam. There are beautiful sandy and pebble beaches with ancient and historic towns en route and don’t forget the local wineries. Bewl Water offers walking and cycling trails and water sports so there is something for everyone.

The annexe is attached to the owners’ home, with a private entrance to the side of the property. Enter the hallway which has double doors leading into the lounge with a large bay window. There is a large comfortable sofa with two seats which can recline, and another easy chair with a footstool. There is a smart TV and DVD player and a separate study area for your laptop. The dining room, which is airy and light, overlooks the owner’s garden and has access out to a decked area. There is large dining table and seating for four and a small TV and the adjoining kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals, if you’re not eating out! There is a cloakroom with a WC and a washing machine. Make your way upstairs to a spacious and bright landing which has a quiet study area with a desk and chair and a there is a double bedroom with a king-size bed, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. The bathroom is stylish with a separate shower and bath.

Outside there is a enclosed decked area to the rear which gets the early morning sun and looks out onto the owner’s garden. There is a table and two chairs, perfect for outside dining.

We had a fantastic break at The West Wing, property offers everything you could need. Location was ideal for walking into town centre along with visiting nearby attractions eg Hever Castle, Chartwell & Leeds Castle. We couldn't have chosen better

An excellent place to stay., comfortable, clean, close to town but very quiet. Spacious rooms and a lovely kitchen. Also parking which is a bonus in Tunbridge Wells.

A beautiful cottage:in very sense of the word. Roomy, well equipped, extremely comfortable and a beautiful garden to look out onto. You feel as if you are in the middle of the countryside yet you are just minutes from the high street. Exceptionally comfortable place, in a quiet location, parking included and close to all attactionsin the town. Train station 10 minute walk making it handy for trips /excursions. We loved staying here! Fabulous quiet location, but still within 7 minute walk into the centre of town. The West Wing is extremely comfortable and spacious. Bed was superb with quality linen and towels. Liz was a great host and couldnt do enough to help us. Would highly recommend this lovely property.

A wonderful cottage in the heart of Tunbridge wells. You would think you were in the middle of the countryside yet you are a few minutes walk from the town centre. Everything you need including a large decking area with a view of the beautiful garden. Spacious and bright. Parking is a bonus in this town

Lovely place. The host is welcoming, helpful and friendly. The place itself is very peaceful, quite spacious and very comfortable. You are a 5 minute walk into the centre of Tunbridge Wells and the train station is only about 10-15 minutes walk away as well. This is a little gem of a place in a perfect location for two people. The west wing is a home from home .Extremely comfortable and very well equipped it is very well maintained by the owners and we certainly chilled out there. Which we both needed. The location was a nice surprise we didnt use our car much as everything was within walking distance .
