Explore the nearby Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (4 miles) a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts, or take a leisurely walk along the breath-taking Winchelsea Beach, with its gentle shelving beach and ancient petrified forest which is visible at low tide. Enjoy a trip to the nearby market town of Rye (3 miles) which boasts many independent shops and restaurants, the perfect place for whiling away an afternoon exploring the antique shops or enjoying an afternoon tea. For those who want to explore further afield take a trip to nearby Great Dixter Gardens (11 miles) Bodiam Castle (16 miles) or head to Camber Sands (6 miles) to enjoy 7 miles of unspoilt sandy beach.

The front door leads through into a welcoming hallway with space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading into the cosy lounge. This room offers comfortable seating for all guests as well as a Smart TV, open fire for chilly evenings and a wide selection of books and board games to keep the whole family entertained. The hallway then leads you into a light and bright open plan living space which has a large conservatory with a dining table and chairs, a well-equipped kitchen for whipping up delicious family meals and a relaxed seating area with comfy seating arranged around an open fire. This is a delightful space where all the family can relax together. Completing the ground floor is a utility room with a WC. Heading upstairs there are three bedrooms to choose from, two king-size bedrooms and a twin room (which can be made into a double bed on request). There is also a family bathroom.

Outside, there is a fully enclosed garden with various seating areas to enjoy the sunshine all day, a table and chairs for enjoying al fresco dining and a charcoal BBQ.

Lovely cottage, well equipped, great location. Very quiet, slept like logs. So much to do within walking distance and enjoyed good weather so were out walking a lot. Great to have open fires too, really adds to the joy of the stay!
