Inside, the property is light and airy, and boasts many original features; the decor is a tasteful blend of period and contemporary styles. On the ground floor, the sitting room and dining room are open plan, creating a flow through the main sitting areas and making it more spacious. We stayed at Napier Cottage for our 20th wedding anniversary, it was so perfect. The cottage was a mix of old & retro, loving the window seat. The views of the sea were gorgeous, loved watching the boats going by. We enjoyed exploring the area and loved the local restaurants. Highly recommend Captain Digby & The Mermaid both were yummy.

We had a lovely week staying at Napier Cottage. It's well equipped, comfortable and stylish. It's great to be able to walk to the beach from the front door. I enjoyed watching all the boats go past and working out what they were with the Marine Traffic app. There's lots to do fairly nearby. We enjoyed the castles at Dover, Walmer and Deal. Napier Cottage is a beautiful cottage placed in a perfect location opposite Kingsgate Bay. This cottage holds many childhood memories as it was once owned by my Grandparents. Its really lovely to see how the new owners are looking after it, with it pretty much as I remembered. The cottage itself is very cosy especially with the open fire. We found the cottage to be in an excellent position just across the road from the beach. It was also within walking distance of two pubs offering good food. The cottage itself had everything we needed and lots of quirky bits and bobs to enjoy.
