This apartment is set on the top floor in Brighton Marina Village and has views from every room out across the harbour. The marina is the largest in the UK and has plenty of amenities including a cinema, bowling alley, glow-in-the-dark golf, a casino and a gym, as well as a range of shops offering fashion, home furnishings, gifts and accessories. Outdoor enthusiasts can go on a boat trip, learn to sail or go jet skiing, or you can head into Brighton to the beach and pier, less than a mile away. Alternatively, spend time in the city’s cultural and shopping hub of North Laine, 2 miles away.

The apartment is reached via a lift to the eighth floor and has a large hallway at the entry. The open-plan living area includes wooden flooring throughout and two leather sofas, as well as a contemporary glass dining table with four chairs. A door from here opens onto a balcony overlooking the harbour. The sleek kitchen has all you need to self-cater and the bathroom features a shower over the bath. One bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, and the other has twin beds. A handy washer/dryer is located in a hallway cupboard.

Although there is no outside space, the balcony is a great spot for morning coffee or an evening drink, and the delights of the marina village are on your doorstep.

Only 1 lift and it broke when we were there. We had to use stairs and we were on 8th floor not fun when you are having to carry cases.

The lift was not working for about 4 hours, as the apartment is on the 8th floor this was a short term problem. It was reported to the original cottages office and they were excellent and kept us up to date with what was happening. Early in our stay the kettle broke, it was replaced within hours of reporting. Our apartment was great. We felt good. It was clean, convenient, modern and we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, the facilities without complaint.
