This beautiful Grade II-listed house dates back to 1750 and has been carefully furnished to complement the original features with antique furniture and eye-catching art. Step through the front door and into the gorgeous lounge which features elegant green walls, an open fire and a second marble fireplace with a wood burner. Here you can relax on the three-seater sofa, one of the armchairs or the chaise longue whilst watching a movie on the Smart TV. A set of French doors lead onto a Juliet balcony which overlooks the courtyard garden. Down a set of wooden stairs, you’ll find an open-plan basement with a large, modern kitchen featuring an original brick fireplace and ample cooking space. The kitchen leads through to a dining area with a dining table and eight chairs, the perfect space for a special meal together. A stable door from this room leads up a small flight of steps to the private courtyard. Upstairs, on the first floor, is a bedroom with an extra-long, super-king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, styled with Persian rugs, wonderful artwork and a pretty glass chandelier. This is a great house, so close to beach, we swam every morning! There are lots of stairs, so if you are sleeping on the top floor you have four flights from the kitchen to your bedroom. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with ample pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. We used the courtyard garden a lot for breakfasts and relaxing. We would defRead moreinitely stay again. Hide
