Stay in a three-storey contemporary cottage with period touches; in the heart of the vibrant North Laines surrounded by boutiques and bars, your front door is less than a mile from the beach. The railway station is 150 metres away, making the location ideal for those wishing to leave the car at home. Within half a mile you can peruse the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, a house of illusions, the majestic Royal Pavillion and catch a show at the Theatre Royal. Walk to the town’s iconic vintage pier (1 mile), where you can play the amusements, ride a zip line, fly down the helter-skelter and see the marine creatures at Sea Life. And get a birds’ eye view of the region from the British Airways i360. Swimmers will love a dip in the sea, or in the Art Deco Saltdean Lido, 5 miles east.

Entering through the front door into the hallway, a flight of stairs takes you to the first floor. Here, you’ll find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. The final king-size bedroom is on the third floor, along with a bathroom boasting a free-standing bath, a rainfall shower and colour-changing mood lighting for an indulgent soak.

A second-floor terrace with views over the rooftops towards the Royal Pavilion and the sea is a real highlight. Take a seat with family or friends around the wooden bench table, as you soak up the evening sunshine over dinner.

Very well equipped property and brilliant location for central Brighton. Plenty of space for 8 people. Clear information of what to do on arrival and departure.

We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Bread left from previous occupier, kitchen cupboards disgustingly dirty, no cleaning spray for us to clean sides down. Bad limescale on bathroom shower, toilet seat didnt look like it had been cleaned properly.
