This accommodation, an annexe of the owner’s property, is accessed via an entrance down the side. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a cosy place to spend time, with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Doors from the lounge area lead out onto the patio. There’s a well-equipped kitchen plus a glass-topped table for enjoying meals. Carpeted stairs from this room lead up to the first floor, where you’ll find a cosy double bedroom with a gable-end wall. Our host had thought of everything you could need and provided a generous welcome pack. The patio space was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.

Rose cottage is very central in the area of High Weald. You can go to some nice places in a few minutes like Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle and Bedgbury National Pineteum and Forest. In Hawkhurst itself you have two huge supermarkets (Waitrose and Tesco). You can also do lovely walks or go to Hastings or other towns an villiages on theRead more coast. The cottage is small but you have everything you need and a great garden patio. For two people is it very good. The owners are very nice and helpful. If you can go there and enjoy Kent and Sussex.
