This four-bed modern house has been thoughtfully renovated to provide ideal holiday accommodation for a large or extended family or group of friends over three storeys. In central Brighton near the sea, it makes the ideal coastal hideout and there’s plenty of scope for group fun as well as quiet time in this smart property dotted with quirky touches. Get lost in Brighton’s labyrinthine lanes, exploring their treasure trove of independent and unusual shops and, of course, there’s plenty of food and drink options where you can people-watch to your heart’s content. Sunbathe and build sandcastles on the golden beach, or wander along the esplanade and enjoy some chips or an ice cream. Tick the top sights off your list such as the Marine Palace and Pier, the Royal Pavilion, British Airways i360 observation tower as well as having a ride on Volk’s Electric Railway, the oldest operating electric railway that runs along a stretch of the seafront. If museums are your thing, head to Brighton Toy and Model Museum or Brighton Museum & Art Gallery for a culture fix.
Entering from street level, there’s a hallway off which you’ll find the ground-floor living accommodation. There’s one double bedroom, a bathroom and a cloakroom but the open-plan living space is the main thing here. It’s a long space that perfectly fits a modern kitchen with all mod cons at the end, so whoever’s on chef duty can still feel fully involved. A sofa and seating area stretches down one side with a long statement table seating ten down the other. There’s a door at the end out to a small outside space with two chairs and this, combined with the light wood floor, decor and overhead windows, ensures this space is bright and airy. Up to the first floor and there’s another bedroom with a king-size bed and single sofa bed plus a shower room and access to the roof terrace. Up again to the second floor for the final two rooms – one king-size with a single sofa bed and one twin/double room. All of the bedrooms are welcoming spaces, with charming, minimalist styling offering everything you’ll need. Just right for a great night’s sleep!
While there’s no garden, this property does boast a roof terrace complete with furniture and artificial grass for al fresco fun. Breakfast, lunch and dinner would be lovely up here in the centre of the town yet out of the way – or just read a book in this lovely spot. There’s also a small outside yard space on the ground floor with two chairs. The beach is just 0.5 miles away and there’s outdoor space and grassy expanses nearby at Queen’s Park.
