Take a city break for two to this welcoming apartment close to both the beach and the city amenities ensuring there’s plenty to do. Right on the doorstep there are a number of bars and restaurants, perfect for a romantic evening out, and a little further afield there is a plethora of shops with a number of independents offering something. Head to the Royal Pavilion to marvel over the architecture which is lit up at night for a magical ambience. Just under a mile away is the coast, with the iconic Brighton Pier, the British Airways i360 offering panoramic views over the South Coast and a number of great seaside cafes and restaurants with a great atmosphere.

The apartment is accessed via a communal front door and a flight of stairs leading down to the private entrance. Entering the property there is the cosy open-plan living room with a sofa, armchair and TV for relaxation, as well as the kitchen area and breakfast bar for mealtimes. There is a quaint window seat allowing light in from the garden which is a great place to sit and enjoy a few pages of a good book. Upstairs is the double bedroom, furnished with wardrobes and a chest of drawers for a homely feel. Next door is the tiled bathroom with a shower over the bath and a backlit mirror.

The enclosed patio area is accessed from the living room with a small table and chairs where couples can enjoy a morning coffee together in peace.

On arrival we had been given the wrong information to locate the keys.Instead of being in the key safe on the post they were in the box by the front door.Also it would have been nice to have got terrestial tv channels as the property is advertised as having a tv so you would have expected to get them.Otherwise we found Maises Place clean and very cRead moreomfortable.Also it is in a great location. Maisies place is a little gem. Situated in Kemptown it was really handy for bars, restaurants and Brighton centre. The apartment is really well equipped and feels large as it has an upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Little patio and garden area is a nice addition but a bit cold and gloomy for us,, Im sure it would be wonderful when it gets really waRead morerm. Be warned there are quite a number of stairs down into the property and a flight of stairs up to the bedroom (only a problem for us with heavy suitcases and other bags when there is limited facilities for parking outside unless you want to risk double yellow lines) We assume that it isnt heavily policed . We parked a few hundred yards away using someones driveway when leaving the car as parking anywhere in Brighton can be expensive. All conveniences you need and thoughtfully furnished and information provided. Thanks for a lovely stay we definitely would stay again and recommend to everyone Hide

We had a fantastic week in Brighton and highly recommend Masie's Place. Small and compact, clean and comfortable, it contains everything required for a comfortable Brighton break. If you are looking for somewhere close to Kemptown, St James's Street, Seafront or Brighton Town Centre then Maisie's Place makes for the the ideal choice! Thank you.
