A homely, two–storey cottage, owned by a local artist, close to the centre of Hythe, a welcoming hideaway for a small family with a variety of interests on water and on land. This thriving town (0.5 miles) features a stunning Victorian promenade, bustling high street, pebble beach and the Royal Military Canal, which stretches 28 miles to Cliff End in East Sussex. A trip on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Miniature Railway (9 miles) can take passengers all the way to Dungeness (14.5 miles), home to a nature reserve and iconic lighthouse. A day will be well spent in the nearby towns of Sandgate (2.5 miles), Folkestone (4.5 miles), while the historic city of Canterbury is just 18.5 miles away.

The cottage’s interior features a bright and spacious living room with comfortable seating, a TV and electric wood burner, setting the scene for cosy nights in. An open-plan kitchen/diner is sure to be a sociable hub. The walls are adorned with beautiful pieces of art, including fused glass, handmade by the owner. A family bathroom and a utility room with access to the garden complete the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a king-size and double, both with decorative fireplaces.

An enclosed courtyard garden to the rear comes with garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining on warmer days.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Everything we needed was all there. Bed really comfortable. Great location - just a minute to the beach. Also great paths for walking the dog.

This beautiful, well equipped cottage is in a perfect location for the beach and High Street. Tastefully decorated throughout, with the owners artistic traits noticeable and adding a personal touch. Comfortable beds too, ensuring a good nights sleep after a beach walk. Thank you for the welcome pack and dog treats, nice touch x

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was very clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. The area was quiet and we had no problem parking on the street.

Such a lovely stay over Christmas to be near family nearby and it couldn't have been more comfortable and ideal for a seaside stay. Seaglass cottage is perfectly located to explore Hythe and the surrounding areas. The seafront is a 2 minute walk away, and you can see the sea from the main bedroom. We had no difficulties parking either directly outside or near the cottage each day. Hythe high street is a short stroll away, with plenty of independent shops to explore, along witRead moreh great pubs and cafes. Take a walk up to the church, the view from there is amazing. The cottage was very clean, with a really well equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfy unlike many holiday homes weve stayed in. It really did feel like a home from home. Seaglass Cottage is a perfect property for visiting the Kent coast. It is immaculately decorated and furnished. It is extremely comfortable. It is located not very far from the beach at Hythe in an area of mainly small houses. The immediate surrounding area has a real sense of community. People are very friendly and there are some excellent caRead morefes and public houses within easy walking distance. The fish and chip shop along Park Road provides superb food, beautifully cooked. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The welcome package included dog treats which was a lovely touch. The location was great. The one downside was the stairs which were very steep and narrow, with no handrail at the top.

Amazing property, doggie treats , tea and coffee in abundance. All mod cons and cleaning equipment all in situ, parking no issues , lovely courtyard garden the smell of honey suckle was nice. All in all a fabulous property well pleased .

Conveniently located, very well equipped, clean, super comfy beds and bedding. Wifi worked well. Small DVD collection. Lovely welcome basket with croissants, jam, crisps and milk. Thai and Fish & Chips around the corner very good. No issues finding parking directly outside property. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Seaglass Cottage was ideal for us. It was very well equipped & decorated with a really nice cosy feel. Just a short walk to the beach & the centre of Hythe with lots of amenities nearby.

Seagrass Cottage is definitely one of the best holiday lets we have experienced to date; this Victorian property has been very tastefully modernised whilst retaining some of its original features. A well equipped and very comfortable small cottage in a part of Hythe close to the sea. Local residents were very welcoming and it was good to be in a friendly community. In the area there were some really good cafes, restaurants and public houses. The location was well placed for weeks along the esplanade all the way towards Sandgate and FolkestRead moreone. The cottage was also within easy walking distance of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway. The railway provided easy access to the vast shingle desert of Dungeness as well as to New Romney and Dymchurch with their links into the Romney Marsh. Hide

Perfect property to explore this part of Kent. A short walk to the seafront giving easy access to the walk to Folkestone via Sandgate and a similar short walk to the shops. Property is well equipped and perfect for a couple.
