Located in the Brunswick area of the historic seaside town of Hove, this charming apartment is a perfect base for a small family or group of three from which to explore this picturesque part of West Sussex. The bustle of Brighton, with its vibrant streets, historic pier, Royal Pavilion, exciting shops and places to eat and drink, is just 1 mile away. Calmer and more peaceful than its neighbour, Hove offers stunning Regency architecture and walks along the seafront. Lancing Beach with beach huts and a quiet, long sand and shingle beach is 10 miles away.

Once a coach house for Regency and Victorian coachmen, this welcoming first-floor apartment is located within an elegant mews building. Accommodation is situated all within one floor and is accessible through a private front door and up a flight of stairs. The property’s open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is comfortable and well-appointed, with plenty of space for guests to relax. The kitchen is modern and well-fitted. A separate utility room houses additional amenities and can be used as a drying area. The property’s two bedrooms, a king-size and a single, are light-filled and well-furnished, and the bathroom is relaxing and bright.

Due to the close proximity to the promenade, there is no private outside space included with the property. However, guests are just a few steps away from the beach.

I attended brighton marathon, and the coachman's flat was close to the arrival.

Comfortable spacious 2 bedroom traditional accommodation. Easy walk to the beach and about 15 minutes walk to Brighton centre (or lots of buses along the main road if you don't fancy the walk). Plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs around, and food shops very close by. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and provided a welcome tray of goodies forRead more a cuppa when we arrived. We have been incredibly lucky as the weather has been hot and dry all week and we have loved the flat, the area and have had lots of interesting visits to places we remember from our childhoods in Hove. A perfect holiday venue.

Here to await birth of a granddaughter, a very comfortable base, much helped by friendly and interested involvement of our hosts. A good stay which we hope to repeat.
