This detached seaside property offers a luxurious and welcoming base for a family or group of friends looking to explore Worthing and the South Downs. Worthing is a vibrant seaside town with a palm-lined promenade, a shingle beach and a traditional pier offering fun for all the family. There’s plenty to explore in the town too, with a selection of quirky shops, a fantastic food scene, an art gallery and museum, several open studios and galleries, and theatres offering comedy, live music and musicals. Located at the foot of the South Downs, there are walking opportunities nearby, including the ruined Iron Age fort at Cissbury Ring (6 miles), and Highdown Gardens (5.4 miles). Alternatively explore the many beaches along the coast, including the diverse resort of Brighton (13 miles) with its iconic Royal Pavilion, famous piers, and eclectic shops.

This two-storey house, with the bedrooms on the ground floor and living area upstairs, is exquisitely styled offering a touch of luxury throughout. On the ground floor, there are two tastefully presented and characterful bedrooms, both with blackout blinds and TVs. The colourful master has a king-size bed and a gorgeous en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath. The double bedroom is a spacious haven in complementary pastel shades. You’ll also find a fully tiled, contemporary shower room, and a utility room with a door leading to the garden. Upstairs, the main living space is open-plan with a large corner sofa, a TV, a dining table for six, and bi-fold doors leading to the balcony. The views from here are truly breathtaking. A spacious and stylish kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools has been designed to take full advantage of the property’s coastal views, and there’s also a first-floor cloakroom.

Outside, the first-floor balcony has a table and chairs plus a lounge seat, offering a lovely spot for a sunset drink. Downstairs, the enclosed garden has a raised decking with a choice of comfortable seating, a BBQ, and a hot tub for four people – ideal for unwinding after a day walking on the Downs.

Fabulous property in a great location. Super Well equipped. The only thing I would say in that the mattresses were uncomfortable and far too soft. The standard of the bedding didnt match the high standard of the rest of the property.

We have had a lovely week despite the weather. Watching the sea and changing weather conditions across the coast from the balcony was fab. Such a spacious and well laid out, beautiful house. This house looks amazing on the website and you will not be disappointed . From the moment you walk in the door it feels like home. Everything you need is covered from phone chargers to cooking equipment its covered. Amenities are all within walking distance and if you want to go further afield its only 2 on the bus which stops right outside. The hRead moreot tub always a good bonus. We've had a lovely stay here in a house where so much has been accommodated for! (I'm currently enjoying the cookies from the welcome hamper, thank you!). We loved the views, the sea breeze and the hot tub. We loved being able to ditch the car and use the cheap and frequent public transport: from central Worthing to Brighton and even to ChichesteRead morer! We also loved returning home to the very comfortable sofa to have a drink and watch the world for by. Hide

This was a luxury house with luxury accommodation. The piece de resistance was the wonderful balcony overlooking the sea.

The house was first class in every respect. However, the directions included in our confirmation from Original Cottages were of no use to someone travelling from the East of the country as we were advised to use the A24 when we needed the A23 and A27. The information regarding bedding and towels on departure was misleading and confusing. When I Read moretelephoned to query this I was advised the information hadnt been updated since Covid! Hide

I have reduced the comfort and quality score because the Tempur king size bed was very uncomfortable and it was a real shame that the other bed was only a double and not a king size bed.

Fantastic in every way. The only reason for the slightly lower score on comfort is the plastic mattress protector on the king size bed, hot & noisy.

We were constantly informed of what was happening building up to our going to the property. The property was exactly as shown on pictures and the quality of the house and everything included was definitely 5*, with the view and hot tub being the highlight. Definitely recommend this property to anyone
