Very practical location. Car park space is a major advantage. Comfortable and clean property. Quiet area but be aware that the walls between the houses are very thin.

This cottage has a great location and parking. A big plus. Everything works....5 minutes from the sea. Easy walk to town centre or Hove. Or bus ride.

Overall a very cosy cottage ideal for short winter break. Have stayed there before and we will be back. Great location close to the shops and my favourite pub- Lion & Lobster. Parking is a little tight but an absolute dream and deal clincher.

2 Ivy Mews is a lovely cosy property in an excellent location only 3 mins walk to the front. It is well equipped with everything you could need and was clean & tidy on our arrival. We really did appreciate the prosecco and biscuits left by the owner as this was a nice touch at Christmas time. A smaller sized car is a must for parking but we knew thRead moreat in advance so were prepared. To have parking in such a location is fantastic. Be prepared that the walls are thin and you may hear the neighbours. It was Christmas when we stayed, so they may just have been livelier than usual. Overall, a lovely getaway. Hide

A clean, comfortable and well-equipped property in a central location. It has the advantage of allocated parking in a city where finding a parking space is very challenging. However, it is not suitable for anything other than a small car.

Cottage was as expected, great location and reasonable price. When we had a problem with the bathroom taps, the owner came out and fixed it on the same day.

We know well the ivy mews cottage. It is perfect for us and our dog. The car park is very interesting especially in Brighton. The cottage is very close to the beach. Not more 10mm from all shops. If only we could we'll rent it for a long time moving from Paris to Brighton !

The location of the cottage was excellent! We parked the car and never used it again until we left after our three nights. Pefect for walking into and exploring Brighton. There was all the equipment needed for a short stay with one exception. Please would you supply a bowl (or at least a plug) for the kitchen sink. It was disappointing to see Read morethe wassted water when washing up the pots. Overall a great stay at Ivy Mews. Hide

This was our second stay, and it was like coming home. Everything was clean and comfortable and the edition of a foot stool was very welcome. The property is in a great location very quiet but so close to the seafront and in the other direction close to the high street. It also has the bonus of having a parking space without any cost. Second year stopping in the same property through Original Cottages. It is basic, but a brilliant location and great value with a parking space and dog friendly. Everything you could possibly need is just a few minutes walk away.

Ivy Mews is good value and conveniently located; the seafront, an excellent patisserie, reasonably priced restaurants, pubs and a book shop are all within a few minutes walk. Comfortable beds, good quality bedding & towels, handwash, washing up liquid & cloths are all provided, but no tea towel. The internal walls of the house are not soundproof.

Very quiet location although in town centre. Very creaky top of stairs and not good soundproofing so some noise from neighbours..
