A former 19th-century coastguard cottage, this property is the perfect getaway for a family or group of golfers. Littlestone Golf Course, regarded as two golf courses in one, is on your doorstep, while Littlestone seafront is less than 0.5 miles away. Head to New Romney railway station (0.5 miles) to ride the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. The railway has been an integral part of the landscape of Romney Marsh since 1927. At the far end of the line is Dungeness - this headland is formed of a shingle beach whilst the RSPB Dungeness reserve is set back from the sea, boasting mile after mile of open shingle, freshwater pits, wet grassland and stunning wildflower meadows. Cyclists can follow National Cycle Network Route 2 from Lydd or Hythe to make the most of the marsh. The area is also ideal for walking, with miles of flat footpaths and beautiful scenery.

Enter the property via the front garden and through French doors into the living/dining room. A range of seating is arranged around the flame effect electric fire, and there is a large dining table with chairs for sociable mealtimes. The compact kitchen is complemented by a handy utility room. On the first floor, you’ll find a colourful and cosy double bedroom with a small ornamental fireplace, and a warm and welcoming bedroom with a single/Trundle bed. The stylish bathroom benefits from a shower over the bath and a large heated towel rail. A third bedroom can be found on the second floor, featuring sloping ceilings and boasting far-reaching views. It has a refreshing en-suite shower room.

Enjoy al fresco drinks in the pretty enclosed garden with direct access to Littlestone Golf Course.

Lovely cottage and location, lots to do and Ashford is a short drive away too. Good local restaurants and although we didn't try the Chinese takeaway it seemed packed most the time. If you like Indian, Cardamon is the place to go, take your own drinks and no corkage fee.

A really comfortable cottage in a quiet, tree lined street . The cottage is very clean and well equipped. We found the beds to be comfortable and enjoyed watching the golfers on the adjacent golf course. Good communication from the owner. We would defintely use this cottage again.

A fantastic little cottage away from busy roads and with beautiful views over the golf course. A lovely friendly neighbourhood with plenty on the doorstep and easy access to the steam railway. We will book again.

We had a great week in Littlestone. Plenty to do nearby (kids loved the mini railway) and the cottage was a great home from home!

A lovely comfy cottage, with every convenience to make us feel at home, we didnt want for anything during our stay. The owner was kind and checked to make sure we were comfortable and heating was suitable for us. A great place to escape and relax, play golf, walk or visit Kent attractions. Thank you!

We stayed for a week at the end of October. When we arrived the house was cold but we turned the heating on and it was lovely and warm in a very short time. The view over the golf course and beyond is very good. Parking on the street was not a problem. Kitchen is well equipped, plenty of hot water, bed was comfortable.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. The house was spotless when we arrived and the welcome cakes, scones and tea bags were very thoughtful. The cottage is very well equipped with good quality, modern appliances. Its very close to the beach so perfect walks by the sea. Its on a quiet road (apart from the seagulls) and a perfect spot to unwind and alRead moreso visit sites in the area. A ride on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch railway is a must :) Hide

Compact quiet pretty cottage. Quite a lot of steepish stairs which were a bit tricky for our elderly relative. Generally very comfortable with wonderful views across the golf course. 10 to 15 minute walk to local co-op and miniature railway station so very convenient location.
