A perfect seaside getaway for a couple, this chic apartment is in the very heart of Hove, just one street away from the main shopping area with its mix of high-street stores and independent boutiques. Pubs, bars and places to eat are all on your doorstep, too. The town’s mostly shingle beach, where you can try water sports including windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding, is backed by a long esplanade with beach huts and a cycle lane, as well as Hove Lawns, a grassy area with cafes, a tennis club, a leisure centre, an amusement arcade and crazy golf. There is also a large lagoon here with a yachting club and outdoor swimming pool. A walk, cycle or bus will take you to Brighton, less than 2 miles away, where there is so much to do, including exploring the Lanes, with narrow alleyways, hidden squares, exciting shops and places to eat, drink and watch the world go by. The renowned beauty spot of Devil’s Dyke is only 5 miles from Hove, and the charming village of Ditchling is 8.5 miles, from where it is only a further 2 miles to the Ridgeview Wine Estate, for a tour of the vineyard, tastings and the year-round restaurant.

The apartment is on the lower-ground floor of a grand Victorian villa, with ten steps down to the front door. Enter the spacious, open-plan lounge, which features a sumptuous velvet sofa facing a smart TV, a lovely dining area by the window and, at the opposite end, a run of kitchen cupboards with integrated appliances and everything you’ll need to cook quick snacks or delicious evening meals. The whole space is cleverly designed with stylish pieces throughout. The attractive double bedroom and bathroom (with rainfall and hand-held shower over the bath) are both on the same level.

Whilst there is no outside space, you’re just minutes from the beach where you can take a stroll or enjoy a picnic.
