The lodge is spacious and very comfortable and in a beautiful village nearby and scenic location. From the bedrooms there is a wonderful view down the valley. It is extremely peaceful. It is very well equipped and has an excellent kitchen and sitting room. The three bathrooms is a superb luxury for the three double bedrooms. It is a heritage old loRead moredge but has been beautifully restored and modernised. The owners are very responsive if any problems. There is an excellent farm shop and cafe a few minutes away and many historic sites nearby. Goudhurst is a very attractive medieval village. We did some lovely countryside walking on the High Weald Landscape Trail. We hope to return in warmer weather when one can sit outside on the very lovely terrace. The wild peacocks were very curious about us! Hide
