Situated in a beautiful location in the Kent countryside, adjacent to the owner’s property, this charming cottage offers a perfect escape from the everyday. Within 1 mile of the village pub, and with many local footpaths leading from your doorstep this is a great place for enjoying all that Kent has to offer. When not exploring the many footpaths that criss cross the rolling countryside, why not visit the nearby attractions of Leeds Castle (5 miles) and Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens (6 miles). Keen wine enthusiasts can enjoy guided tours and sampling the delights of the nearby Balfour Winery (4 miles), one of the many award-winning vineyards on offer in the area, or for those looking to venture slightly further afield there are numerous pretty towns and villages to explore including Headcorn (4 miles), Cranbrook (9 miles) and Tenterden (10 miles).

As you enter the light-filled, refurbished, former granary which offers modern features whilst still maintaining the original character with oak beams, floors and doors you are welcomed into the entrance hall where there is space for dropping off shoes and coats before continuing through to the main living area. This spacious and bright room features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and French doors opening onto a courtyard garden area. The kitchen is ideal for whipping up a delicious meal before sitting down to dine at the dining table with seating for all. After dinner, retreat to the cosy lounge area and relax on the comfortable corner sofa which is perfect for unwinding in front of the Smart TV/ DVD player with Sky Q for a relaxing evening. Heading back into the hallway, you will find the first two bedrooms on the ground floor: a double with French doors to the garden and an en-suite shower room, and a cosy twin room. The ground floor is completed with the family bathroom. Heading upstairs there is a further double bedroom.

Outside, there is a large courtyard garden area that features patio seating for six guests – perfect for enjoying outside dining.
