Bring your loved ones to a countryside idyll with stylish interiors and wonderful amenities for enjoying days and nights in the garden. The property is 2.5 miles from the small village of Biddenden, with a pub, tearoom, bakehouse and a shop. Walk a little over 3 miles across the fields and you’ll reach the National Trust's Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens. Tours and wine tastings are available at Kent's original vineyard, 4 miles away, while the pretty neighbouring village of Cranbrook (5 miles) has a windmill, a museum and an array of independent shops. Visit Hawkhurst (8.5 miles), part of the “Smugglers Trail”; it’s home to a digital cinema and a gastropub, and anglers will love the village’s fish farm which has a waterside cafe. Further away, you can explore the historic town of Rye (19 miles).

The entrance with a seating area and hanging space, leads into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. At one end, a Scandi-style sofa and armchair are arranged around the TV and French doors, offering open views of the rural scenery; a DVR and Amazon Fire Stick enable you to record and watch programmes on catch-up, while additional audio-visual hardware works alongside an Xmeye and IP camera app, to allow you to view wildlife via the property’s CCTV camera views. The remaining half of the space encompasses the fashionable kitchen and farmhouse-style dining table. A linked hallway with a floor-to-ceiling window and a bench is a lovely spot to see further afield with the binoculars provided. Two king-size bedrooms (one with French windows) have en-suite shower rooms and are linked via a hallway, which offers further seating, and an airing cupboard with ironing board and iron.

Outside, there’s a fenced private seating area with deck chairs for lounging in the sunshine, dining furniture and a chiminea. A six-person hot tub with additional seating under a tented canopy, and BBQ (available during the summer months or weather permitting) are shared with the cabin’s sister property. In addition, there is a central area with a shared utility kitchen that houses two washing machines (one for human use and the other for doggy towels and blankets), a storage cupboard for wet coats and muddy boots, and an outside tap for washing muddy paws.
