With the centre of the village within an easy walk (1 mile), it’s perfect for those who want to explore the local independent eateries and shops on offer. Just a short drive from the property is the village of Pevensey (2 miles) with its striking castle (now an English Heritage site) and the Sovereign Harbour Marina. Eastbourne too is only 3 miles away, a great place for a spot of lunch whilst admiring the wide variety of boats moored up. The Towner in Eastbourne is a stylish contemporary art gallery and is not to be missed. For animal lovers, Drusilla’s Park at Alfriston offers a great family day out with lemurs and penguins and a family splash park (10.7 miles)

Step through the front door of this fabulous beach house and into the welcoming hallway where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes. On this floor, there is a useful utility room. Heading up to the first floor, you will find the large open-plan living space which has access directly out onto the beach. Soak in the uninterrupted views by day and get cosy on the sofas at night, watching a film on the Smart TV and warming by the electric wood burner. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you may need for creating delicious family meals and the dining table with seating for six offers the perfect spot to enjoy dinner or to gather the family together for an afternoon of board games. The property has three bedrooms, the first of which is a double with an en-suite shower room located on this floor. Heading up to the second floor, you will find the remaining two bedrooms: a double with en-suite shower room and the master king-size bedroom which has a Smart TV, an en-suite bathroom and a delightful, covered balcony area which overlooks the beach. A bistro table and chairs provide the perfect spot for a morning coffee or just to enjoy gazing out to sea and watching the fishing boats bob along in the water.
