Providing fresh, light and spacious accommodation for up to five guests, this stunning residence makes a wonderful base for families and friends enjoying a peaceful getaway in a beautiful spot just outside Hastings. The historic town of Hastings (5 miles) has a wealth of great places to eat and drink, with popular landmarks including Hastings Castle, Alexandra Park, Ecclesbourne Glen, Smugglers Adventure and Hastings Beach. Heading north into the stunning High Weald National Landscape, attractions include Brede Steam Giants, the Carr Taylor vineyard, Great Dixter House and Gardens, Bodiam Castle, and English Heritage’s 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield site, all within 9 miles. Heading east along the coast, the picturesque medieval coastal town of Rye (12 miles) is known for Camber Sands, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Camber Castle.

Entering this bright and welcoming property, the cheerful hallway has space for dropping off coats and boots before you head through to the characterful, elegantly organised kitchen/diner. The beautifully arranged kitchen has a wealth of useful equipment, alongside original tiling, exposed brickwork and wooden beams. The charming dining area is perfect for getting together for a family meal. Exploring the ground floor of this delightful retreat further, you will find a cosy and light-filled lounge, with garden views, sumptuous seating, a TV, wooden beams and a roaring wood burner. The ground floor also has a sleek and invigorating shower room and a handy utility area. Going upstairs to the first floor, you’ll find a stylishly tiled and refreshing bathroom and a choice of three bedrooms decorated in warm, relaxing shades. The first is a cheerful single room with a high timber beam, while the two others are charming and spacious double rooms with lovely views – one with its own TV.

Outside, there’s a quiet and secluded patio perfect for enjoying the morning sunshine. The property also has a lovely and extensive mature garden with further seating, tranquil lawns and a beautiful array of plants and trees. Private parking is available for two cars.

This is our third stay here, its a lovely house, away from the noise of traffic, so peaceful!!! Zoe always makes you feel welcome leaving us some goodies, & if there are any problems you can always contact her or her Father. Our dog, loves the big garden!!!
