Shipton Green (1 mile) offers a picturesque approach to West Itchenor, featuring coastal walking routes and stunning waterside scenery. From here, continue on foot to West Wittering Beach, East Wittering Beach or The Hinge at East Head Spit (each within 3.5 miles), all sandy, scenic spots celebrated for their unspoiled natural beauty. For a longer adventure, cycle or hike the Salterns Way, a 19km route leading from West Wittering into Chichester. At 5.5 miles away, the city is well worth a visit, home to its remarkable Roman cathedral, a thriving local theatre, independent shops and an excellent choice of eateries.

This has been beautifully converted from an old garage to a cottage with all modern conveniences and was impeccably clean. It is thoughtfully and well-equipped from everything necessary in the kitchen, to the TV and internet facilities, toiletries in the bathroom, a hairdryer and various charging cables, as well as some fresh flowers from the gardeRead moren. Louise was a charming host, giving us great advice about the wonderful local area. We had already been warned by a friend that it was essential to book parking 24hrs in advance for the amazing West Wittering beach, but Louise was able to tell us to push on to the end to find the dog-friendly section! We had a lovely four night stay at the garage in itchenor. The property was very comfortable and well equipped for two people and a dog. We will certainly be recommending this holiday let to our family and friends.
