This fantastic apartment is just yards from the sandy beach in Broadstairs and is a great base from which to enjoy a memorable holiday with a family or a group of friends. Broadstairs is a very popular holiday destination and is know as the jewel in Thanet’s crown. It has plenty of old-world charm, famous literary connections as well as seven sandy beaches. Literary fans can visit the imposing cliff-top ‘Bleak House’ and there is also the Dickens Museum. The main resort of Broadstairs has Viking Bay which is complete with beach huts, restaurants and cafes as well as a small harbour. There’s also the Viking cycle trail and beautiful flowerbeds on the promenade. In the summer months, there are also plenty of events and festivals to enjoy.

Inside, the front door opens into a spacious hallway. From here, guests can enter into the kitchen and dining room which has a beautiful granite-topped central island. It has all modern appliances to help create delicious meals, which can be enjoyed at the large glass table that fits up to eight people. There’s also a utility room to hide away laundry, while the downstairs cloakroom has its own WC. Finally on this floor is a pretty bedroom with twin beds. Upstairs on the first floor, there are three further bedrooms as well as a welcoming sitting room. The sitting room has a large L-shaped sofa and armchair. There is also another dining table in here as well as a Smart TV and DVD player so you can relax after a busy day exploring and it’s a great social space for a meal or a game of cards. The bedrooms are well presented and tastefully decorated with two of them having en-suite shower rooms and king-size beds. The final bedroom is an inviting twin, while the family bathroom on this floor has a WC and a shower over the bath.

The apartment has the added bonus of an enclosed patio to the rear where guests can sit to eat breakfast alfresco or enjoy cooking on the barbecue.

Excellent location, great added bonus of parking, spacious property and very well equipped. Kitchen had everything! Plenty of plates, glassware and cutlery.

We stayed over Christmas for 4 nights, there was 7 of us including a 5 year old. The property was spacious, comfortable and warm for all. Kitchen was well equipped with all you would need. The location is faultless, a very short walk to beach, shops, local pubs and restaurants. Very spacious apartment with lots of kitchen equipment, comfortable beds and good en-suites and bathroom. Location is perfect for access to the beach and the numerous eating places. Perfectly situated within a short walk to all the amenities of Broadstairs. A very warm comfortable apartment on two levels for three mature couples over the New Year. Each couple had a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Beds were comfortable and the showers were amazing! We cooked easily at apartment for 2 nights - everything needed was to hand! The Read moreupstairs lounge was great for relaxing/ board games and a game of cards! We ate out twice at The Italian Sardinia restaurant and seafood restaurant at The Tartar Frigate - both were excellent. Found a couple of great small pubs. Walked the coastal route to Margate and the next day to Ramsgate! I would highly recommend 1 York Mansions and Broadstairs. Thank you for a great start to the New Year! Hide

Beautiful spacious apartment, just off the main beach road . Very quiet location, but easy to walk to the many shops & restaurants in Broadstairs. Carpark was a little tight for our estate car, but we managed, and there is street parking if you find it a challenge! Would definitely stay again .
