Perfectly located just off the charming high street and only 500 metres from the town’s beach and historic working harbour, this property combines comfort and style, offering the ideal base for an unforgettable coastal escape. Discover Whitstable’s vibrant atmosphere, with its boutique shops, cosy pubs, artisan cafés, and abundance of acclaimed restaurants. Whether you’re strolling along the shoreline, indulging in fresh seafood, or exploring the town’s unique heritage, every day brings something special. The Kent coastline is a haven for water sports, including paddleboarding, windsurfing and sailing. Nature lovers and cyclists will relish the scenic Crab and Winkle Way which connects Whitstable to Canterbury over 7 miles, while history enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the splendour of Canterbury (8 miles), home to England’s oldest cathedral, picturesque gardens and an all-round beautiful city to visit.

The stylish galley kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your favourite dishes, while the chic ground-floor bathroom adds a touch of elegance to your stay with a luxurious rain shower. The first floor hosts a calming master bedroom with a king-size bed and Scandinavian-inspired décor, alongside a twin room with a playful coastal theme (and a secret toy cupboard for younger visitors!). A convenient WC is also located on the first floor. The second floor offers a bright double loft bedroom with views toward Harbour Street. Both first and second floors are accessed via a traditional steep staircase which is typical of this type of property. All bedrooms include bedside tables, storage, mirrors, blackout blinds and curtains, along with extras like fans and hairdryers.

Stepping outside, the enclosed south-facing courtyard garden is a wonderful sun trap and has festoon lighting and ample outdoor furniture, providing a lovely spot for relaxing and dining alfresco. The beach hut-style shed has an array of seaside equipment for you to use, including buckets and spades. The property benefits from secure rear gate access, ideal for pushchairs or for coming back from the beach.

A really comfortable stay in a lovely cottage in an excellent location just off the vibrant high street. Our only negative would be that the stairs were very steep and narrow which was a bit of a concern with elderly parents, and would be too with v young children although there are stair gates. Kitchen is very well equipped.
