Located in Hythe, a pretty Kent town on the coast, with a good array of independent shops restaurants, cafes and pubs, this is a great property for families and couples. The house is within walking distance of the beach so is ideal for keen swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. It is close to Brockhill Country Park and the Kent Downs, both offering a variety of countryside walks, cycling and horse riding, and just a short drive from the nearby towns of Folkestone (4 miles) and Ashford (12 miles) which both offer family entertainment. Venturing slightly further afield is Dover Castle (13 miles), a quintessential English castle, and the historical city of Canterbury (18 miles), which is home to the cathedral and Marlowe Theatre.

Step into the spacious hallway with space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading through to the light and airy open-plan, lounge/kitchen/diner. The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need including two electric ovens and an induction hob, fridge/ freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, and microwave. A separate utility room just off the kitchen has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen also offers a breakfast bar with stools which is a sociable space to chat whilst dinner is being prepared before sitting down to dine at the dining table which comfortably seats six, and is ideal for family meals. Afterwards, relax in front of the Smart TV on the comfortable corner sofa or armchair that overlook the garden, or light the wood burner on chilly evenings and snuggle up in front of a roaring fire. For the younger guests, a PlayStation 4 is also available. Guests that are looking for a quiet spot to relax after dinner can retreat to the snug which has a three seater sofa and a wide selection of books to savour and Lego. Also on the snug there's a static exercise bike, which guests are welcome to use. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are three bedrooms. The sumptuous king-size bedroom and a large double room (this bed can be made into two small singles on request) enjoy spectacular sea views and both have en-suite shower rooms with WC. The third bedroom is also double and has the use of the family bathroom with a bath with shower over and WC.

Outside, relax on the decking that has comfortable outdoor seating and a hot tub in which to relax and enjoy the outdoor life. Finish off the day with a family BBQ and watch the sun go down with a glass of something cool whilst enjoying the stunning sea views.

Our only issue which we mentioned to the agent was the lack of terrestrial TV and no radio/ speaker to play music on, otherwise it was a great place to stay. Very clean and lovely welcome package. We were unsure if food left in cupboards/fridge were for general use - we didn't use anything apart from some salt & pepper as we assumed it was for the Read moreowners use - perhaps this could be made clear to future customers. A well equipped home with distant sea views, a hot tub and patio perfect for those afternoon rays of sunshine. Comfortable beds and a great location for travelling round this part of the Kent Coast.
