Get the whole gang together at this fabulous coastal retreat sitting in the beautiful town of Selsey. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, it’s a perfect accommodation choice for large families or groups of friends searching for a fun, coastal themed cottage to call home while they explore the West Sussex coastline together. Head to Pagham Harbour (5 miles) to spend a few happy hours spotting rare wading birds at the RSPB Nature Reserve; or make your way to Bognor Regis (9 miles) to stroll along its Victorian pier and hire a kayak or paddleboard. While you’re there, check out the bathing machine at the town’s quirky museum. This fascinating machine was once used to preserve the dignity of lords and ladies who visited the beach. Alternatively, treat yourself to a glamorous day at the races at Goodwood Racecourse (10 miles), where the tradition of horse racing goes back to 1802.
Pull up in the parking area (there’s room for three cars) and step inside. Upstairs you’ll find an open-plan coastal themed living/kitchen/dining area. Cook up a storm in the sleek kitchen area and then savour a glass of wine in the living area while you soak up the beach views. At the end of the day, you’ll find a king-size bedroom on the first floor (can be made into a twin on request), as well as a double and a king-size on the ground floor (one with an en-suite shower room with a shower over the bath, as well as patio door that leads out onto Selsey Beach). A double sofa bed is also available on request. One bathroom with shower over the bath complete the layout.
Kick off your day with a coffee in the first-floor balcony. In the evening, fire up a BBQ in the garden.
