Ideally situated in the pretty village of Pett in the heart of the countryside, but also near the coast, this a great escape for couples and families with two pooches in tow. The cottage is ideal for keen walkers who can take advantage of numerous footpaths that crisscross the vast countryside that surrounds you, passing village pubs and tearooms along the way. Just a short drive away is the beach at nearby Pett Level (1.5 miles), a quiet beach that is perfect for paddling. Also nearby is Hastings Old Town (4.5 miles) which offers a wide range of restaurants, shops, cafes, and traditional seaside attractions like The Smugglers Caves, Hastings Adventure Golf, and the charming Funicular Railways. For those looking to venture further afield, there are numerous attractions within 10 miles, including Bodiam Castle, Battle Abbey, and the medieval town of Rye.

A garden path leads up to this pretty cottage that combines original features like exposed wooden beams and stone walls with plenty of modern comforts. On entering, you will arrive in the well-equipped kitchen which has everything you’ll need for creating delicious meals. From here, head through to the lounge with a large comfy sofa and chairs arranged around the fireplace with a wood burner. Light the fire on chilly evenings and curl up in front of the Smart TV to catch up on your favourite films, the perfect ending to a day of adventuring. Located just off the kitchen is the cosy dining room with a table and chairs, and opposite the dining room is the well-appointed family bathroom. Steep cottage stairs (may be unsuitable for the less mobile) lead from the lounge up to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms; an inviting double and a cosy bunkroom which is perfect for little ones.

 Outside, find a quaint, traditional cottage garden complete with a patio where you can unwind with an evening tipple using the table and chairs - perfect for warm evenings.

Lovely cosy cottage very comfortable and quirky Nice quiet location. Comfortable beds. Ideal for couple or small family. Nice friendly neighbours Would definitely stay again.

A lovely character cottage, ideally located between two nice pubs with lots of great walks on the doorstep well signed/easy to follow.

Stairs are very steep. The village of Pett is really nice. Parking was an issue. Condition of building on outside was poor. Grass in back garden needed cutting. Tiles were broken on kitchen floor.
