The dining table and chairs close by makes for a delightful social environment in which to enjoy home-cooked meals which have been whipped up in the bespoke, well-equipped kitchenette, with a two ring electric hob, Ninja air fryer, fridge, combination microwave, toaster, sink and washing machine. Retreat after a long day to the master bedroom which features a super king-size bed with sumptuous cotton bed linen, comfy pillows and cosy throws perfect for snuggling up in. A fantastic little place to stay out in the countryside, in easy driving distance of tourist destinations but also perfect for just local walks though the town or woodlands. The owners were very kind and very accomodating, offering support when needed and are happy to assist if there are any issues that arise. We had a really nice and relaxing week at the Little Barn. It is extremely conveniently located for visiting other attractions and we fitted in Pevensey Castle, Herstmonceux Castle, Batemans, Bodiam Castle and of course Battle Abbey (all recommended) during our stay. Some nice local walks as well. Anne and John were very welcoming and it was reassuRead morering to know they were nearby in the unlikely event they were needed. A gem and a delight snuck away deep in the countryside just outside Battle. The Little Barn is a perfect base for exploring Sussex and has everything you need - including a great pub 10 mins walk away. The gardens and grounds are so pretty and beautifully kept and a great base to relax in if you need a break from exploring.
