Beautifully decorated with reclaimed wood throughout, this room features an Ercol style armchair and alcove shelves. Also on this floor is the second bedroom with a king-size bed and third room with bunk beds that is stocked with children’s books. Along with a family bathroom and a shower room, with a large walk-in shower cubicle, there is also a cosy nook area with a sofa and selection of books that you can read at the table and chairs on the balcony beyond. On the second floor up in the eaves, you will find a further bedroom with twin beds, and the fifth bedroom with a double bed, both with stunning sea views.

The house was perfect. we were 3 families sharing the house - with ages ranging from 8 to 75, and the house was perfect for us. the room configuration was great, the amount of bathrooms (3) was very welcome. The kitchen was brilliantly stocked with everything we needed, and the house was impressively renovated to a very high standard. the star of tRead morehe show was the location - just a few steps from the beach made it a delight, and was super safe for the kids and the dog. The beach is pebbled, and on a slope - which may not be ideal for everyone. The village was just a few minutes walk, with a good, friendly pub, a convenience store and a great couple of places to eat (we enjoyed fish and chips on the night we arrived!), we visited St Leonards by train, and walked to Eastbourne. We were blessed with wonderful weather, but I think this house would have been brilliant even on a gloomy weekend. definately recommend. Hide

A lovely holiday home but difficult with small children as many stairs and no stair gate. Although the owner eventually replied to a request I had to try both her and the company 3 times. This would not be good in an emergency. A minor detail - the hob is very difficult to work out.

A beautiful house with fantastic views. We had a fantastic weekend with family celebrating my Mum's 80th birthday. The location was brilliant, the children loved playing on the beach and we had some lovely walks. Being able to walk to the shops to pick up fish and chips for tea was a bonus. One of the rare cottages which provide enough equipment and space for a bigger group. Especially , when you do your cooking. We are wegans and rely on that. The Interior design was very good, bright and sunny - we liked it a lot. All in all we felt very comfortable.

Lovely property good size for lots of people. Beds comfy and kitchen well equipped. Lovely area to visit especially The old town of Hastings and we also enjoyed Brighton. Eastbourne was very close with large shops as well as a seaside town. Very impressed with parking in some areas, council parking was free with a Blue Badge.

Our family of 6 plus a 4 year old had a fantastic time. Even though we had a lot of showery weather the house was very comfortable and spacious so we could spread out a bit when we were indoors and it didn't spoil the holiday. The house is well equipped especially the kitchen. We made good use of the beach garden and beach. The local area has plentRead morey of good food outlets and pubs. The owners were very helpful when we had a question. Hide

We loved staying at wave crest! We were here for a sea swim weekend and the location was amazing! Plenty of parking (although we were put of season), quiet and tranquil (other than the sound of the waves crashing on the beach), amazingly well equipped house, clean and fabulous decor. The Castle Inn was a very friendly pub, within 2-3 minutes walk (Read morerecommend the pie) and a trip to Eastbourne pier and Pevensey castle is a must! Hide

Lovely spacious house right on the sea front. We had a family gathering and it worked really well for a meal for 10+ people. The house is done to a high standard and feels very comfy especially once you get the wood burner going. An amazing property in a fantastic location. The kitchen was well equipped, the best weve ever seen self catering. The beach garden was great, and again well equipped for everything you need on the beach. Lovely quiet location where you could hear the waves while in bed. We were lucky with the weather and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
